Are the positions unionized?
It depends on the position. Positions are both unionized and non-unionized depending on unit and hospital site (Mississauga Site, Credit Valley and Queensway Health Centre). Individual job advertisements will confirm if a position is unionized.
Is training provided?
Yes, for RNs there is a full-time two-week orientation.
Trillium Health Partners is committed to professional development and continuous learning. Training is provided for all positions and will vary depending on the position.
How are resumes screened?
Each resume is screened against the qualifications and skills for the position applied for. If a candidate meets the qualifications of a position, they are contacted for a pre-screening interview. Candidates will be contacted by phone and email. Due to high volume of applications, only those candidates selected for an interview are contacted.
